Patrice Barnes Acclaimed as Ontario PC Candidate for Ajax

AJAX – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Patrice Barnes has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Ajax in the next provincial general election.
Since her election as MPP for Ajax in 2022, Patrice Barnes has championed key initiatives, including introducing Black history learning in schools, advocating for critical infrastructure upgrades, and supporting local health services. Her leadership has strengthened the community, created opportunities for workers, and improved access to vital services.
“Patrice Barnes is a dedicated advocate for the people of Ajax,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “From improving our schools to fighting for critical infrastructure upgrades, Patrice has shown what it means to be a true community champion. She has also stood firmly with our government in opposing the Liberal carbon tax that continues to burden families and businesses. Her work is building a brighter future for families in Ajax, and I’m proud to have her on our team.”
Patrice and the Ontario PC Party are focused on making life more affordable for families in Ajax by cutting taxes, reducing gridlock through major highway projects like the Highway 401 widening, and supporting workforce development through training initiatives.
