Ryan Boehme Nominated as Ontario PC Candidate for Kingston and the Islands

KINGSTON, ON – The Ontario PC Party is pleased to announce that Ryan Boehme has been nominated as our candidate for the riding of Kingston and the Islands for the 2022 provincial election.

Ryan is a sitting City Councillor for the Pittsburgh Ward in Kingston, Ontario, and was first elected in 2014. Ryan has also dedicated his time as a Volunteer Firefighter for the City of Kingston since 2012 and was recently promoted to Captain this past year. His full-time position is that of a Journeyperson in Measurement and Communications with Utilities Kingston since 2008.

Prior to his career in municipal politics and as a skilled tradesman, Ryan served with the Canadian Armed Forces as an Intelligence Operator in the Army Reserves from 2000 to 2012. 

“Having been born and raised in Kingston, and now raising five children with my wonderful wife, Jacqueline, I want to bring a new voice to Queen’s Park that will make a positive difference in our community,” said Ryan Boehme.  

Ryan is currently completing his Masters in Public Administration at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC), while having previously graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Political Science with first class distinction in 2018.  Ryan also holds a diploma in Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering Technology from St. Lawrence College. He graduated from Ernestown Secondary School, with a year completed at LaSalle Secondary School, in 2001. Ryan received multiple awards, graduated with full honours, and received his certification of Proficiency in French.
