Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Roman Baber
“I congratulate Roman on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for York Centre.
“A long-time resident of York Centre, Roman understands the opportunities and challenges his community faces. Roman is a civil and commercial lawyer and a member of the Jewish Russian Community Centre, and I welcome his unique perspective to our team. Through our open nomination process Roman has proven he will work hard to build a stronger York Centre and Ontario.
“After 13 years in power, life is harder under the Liberals. Skyrocketing hydro rates are unaffordable for both families and businesses. Cut after cut to health care services has meant more time waiting for care, and taxpayer dollars continue to be wasted. Ontario residents deserve better.
“In York Centre and across the province, the Ontario PC Party will continue to work hard to earn the trust of voters. I look forward to working with Roman and the rest of our Ontario PC team as we share our positive message of change.
