Bruce—Grey—Owen Sound

Bill Walker the Member of Provincial Parliament for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound. He was re-elected to the Ontario Legislature for the third time on June 7, 2018. From June until November 2018, he served as the Chief Government Whip. On November 5, 2019, he was appointed to Cabinet as Minister of Government and Consumer Services. In June 2019, he was named Associate Minister of Energy serving in the roll until May 2021.

Bill also served seven years in Opposition as the Progressive Conservative Critic for Seniors, Long-Term Care and Accessibility, Community and Social Services, Long-Term Care and Wellness, Children and Youth Services, as well as Deputy Health Critic for Rural and Northern Ontario. He is also a long-time PC Caucus Nuclear Chair.

Bill was born in Hepworth, Ontario where he developed a strong sense of family values. Bill and his wife Michaela have two sons, Zach and Ben and in his spare time is a practicing amateur auctioneer and a “Marrying MPP.”
