Statement from Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford on the nomination of Yvan Genier

“I congratulate Yvan Genier on his nomination as the Ontario PC Party Candidate for Timmins. Yvan is a welcomed addition to our strong and diverse PC team.

“Yvan has a wealth of experience in many different professional roles, including, but not limited to: financial advisor for the Knights of Columbus, school teacher, funeral director, volunteer firefighter with Mountjoy Station, and a Canadian Armed Forces military reservist at the Algonquin Regiment.

“Yvan’s experiences will serve him well as the representative for the people of Timmins.

“After 15 years in power, life is harder under the Wynne Liberals. The people of Timmins deserve a government they can trust – a government that will respect the taxpayer, end the culture of waste at Queen’s Park, and stand up for the little guy.

“The Ontario PC Party will continue to work hard for a more prosperous province. I look forward to working with Yvan as we share our message of change with Timmins and Ontario families.”
