FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KITCHENER – The Ontario PCs are proud to announce Rob Elliott as the party’s candidate for the upcoming by-election in Kitchener Centre.
“The people of Kitchener Centre deserve a voice at Queen’s Park that will get big things done,” said Michael Diamond, president of the Ontario PC Party. “Rob is ready to deliver on our government’s work to grow the local economy and build highways, transit, hospitals, and schools for Kitchener.”
As a husband and as the father of two young girls, Rob Elliott is running to build a strong Kitchener and a strong Ontario for the future. Drawing on his experience in the transportation sector and in government, he is ready to work with constituents to continue bringing two-way, all-day GO service to Waterloo Region.
“It’s time for Kitchener Centre to have a voice in government that will champion the growth of our local economy,” said Rob Elliott, Ontario PC Candidate for Kitchener Centre. “Our Ontario PC team is bringing better jobs with bigger paycheques to Waterloo Region, including in the electric vehicle and hi-tech sectors. Now’s the time to keep building.”
Rob earned his Bachelor’s degree at Wilfrid Laurier University and is excited about giving back to the local community. He supports strengthening health care with the redevelopment of Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital, while building three new elementary schools in the Region. Rob is ready to Get It Done by fighting to keep costs down, create new jobs and opportunities and make life more affordable for the people of Kitchener Centre.
