Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Cameron Montgomery
Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Cameron Montgomery as the Ontario PC candidate for Orléans:
“I congratulate Cameron Montgomery on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Orléans.
“An educator with 20 years of experience, Cameron is an expert on the opportunities and challenges facing Ontario’s education system for both Anglophone and Francophone communities. Cameron is also a strong community activist and was previously a member of a mental health research group at the Montfort Hospital and advisory board member of the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario (TA École). Having worked in Orléans for the past 10 years, I have no doubt Cameron will be a strong representative for his community.
“After 13 years, life is harder under the Liberals. Skyrocketing hydro rates are unaffordable for both families and businesses. Cut after cut to health care services has meant more time waiting for care, and taxpayer dollars continue to be wasted.
“In Orléans and across the province, the Ontario PC Party will continue to work hard to earn the trust of voters. I look forward to working with Cameron and the rest of our Ontario PC Party team as we work hard to share our positive message of change.”
