Sylvia Jones Nominated as Ontario PC Party Candidate for Dufferin–Caledon

DUFFERIN-CALEDON – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Sylvia Jones has been nominated as the party’s candidate for Dufferin-Caledon for the next provincial general election.
Since her election as MPP for Dufferin-Caledon in 2007, Sylvia has consistently championed the needs of her community, securing investments for local healthcare services, infrastructure, and job creation. She has worked to improve highway safety and ensure safer communities.
“Sylvia has delivered real results for Dufferin-Caledon,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “Her leadership has been instrumental in reducing gridlock, improving health care, fighting the Liberal carbon tax and supporting good-paying jobs, both across the province and in Dufferin-Caledon. Sylvia has worked hard to ensure that this community thrives. I know she’ll continue to deliver for the people of her community.”
Together, Sylvia and the Ontario PC Party will focus on key priorities for Dufferin-Caledon, including building Highway 413 to reduce gridlock, reducing costs to continue to make the community affordable, attracting and investing in local health care priorities.
