FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HALDIMAND-NORFOLK – Today, Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party, announced Amy Martin as the party’s candidate for Haldimand-Norfolk in the next provincial general election.
As the Mayor of Norfolk County, Amy Martin has been focused on building infrastructure and homes, attracting jobs and investment, and keeping costs down for families in her community. Her leadership and advocacy has led to improved municipal finances for Norfolk County, expanded essential water and wastewater infrastructure, and new investments to address environmental risks such as abandoned oil and gas wells.
“Amy Martin is a dedicated advocate and leader for her community and I look forward to having her on our team at Queen’s Park,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “Working together, we’re going to continue fighting the Liberal carbon tax to keep costs down, investing in workers, building and improving infrastructure, roads and highways, and attracting better jobs with bigger paycheques for the people of Haldimand-Norfolk.”
Amy and the Ontario PC Party are supporting local workers, improving health-care access, driving economic growth, and investing in key infrastructure projects to ensure a prosperous future for Haldimand-Norfolk.
“It’s an incredible honour to run for the Ontario PC Party in Haldimand-Norfolk,” said Amy Martin. “This community means everything to me, and I’m excited to continue advocating for the priorities that matter most, from creating jobs and building housing to expanding access to health care and improving infrastructure. Together, we’ll ensure Haldimand-Norfolk remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.”
