Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on International Yoga Day

The following is a statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on International Yoga Day:

“International Day of Yoga celebrates India’s invaluable ancient tradition that has been carried on for thousands of years. Today, various forms of yoga have bettered the lives of many individuals around the world, not only physically, but also spiritually and mentally.

Last year, I was honoured to participate in the day’s inaugural events in Mississauga, where I found the day to be a success. This year, many communities also participated in events – providing people from all walks of life the opportunity to participate in healthy exercise.

On behalf of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party, I offer my best wishes to everyone who is participating in International Yoga Day.

Namaste!”
