Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on Philippines Independence Day (Filipino)

The following is a statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the 118th anniversary of Philippine Independence:

 

“Mabuhay! On behalf of the PC Party of Ontario, I extend best wishes to all who are celebrating the anniversary of Philippine’s independance.

For Canadians of Filipino Heritage, it is a proud day to not only remember important figures such as Jose Rizal, but to also celebrate the rich Filipino culture.

We are blessed to have such a vibrant community in our province, who add to our wonderful social, economic, academic, and cultural diversity. I encourage all Ontarians to learn about this day and the important contributions made by members of our Filipino community.”
