Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on Good Friday

The following is a statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on Good Friday:

“The Easter Triduum is the holiest time of the year for Christians, and follows the period of fasting known as Lent.

 

Today is Good Friday, which commemorates the passion and crucifixion of Jesus Christ at the hands of the Romans.

Christians across Ontario and around the world will be gathering at Church services to solemnly reflect on Christ’s sacrifice, which they believe cleansed humanity of sin.

On this solemn day, I wish all Christians and their families across Ontario a peaceful and reflective Good Friday.”
