The Ontario PC government is taking action to support Indigenous communities by investing $6 million through the Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program (ICCGP). This investment will help build and renovate community centres, business hubs, cultural facilities, and other vital projects that strengthen local economies, create good-paying jobs, and build prosperity across the province.
The ICCGP has already supported projects across Ontario, including a new recreation centre in Webequie First Nation, a business and community hub in Anishinabe of Wauzhushk Onigum First Nation, and a multi-use facility in Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug.
Applications are now open for the next round of funding, giving Indigenous communities and organizations the opportunity to move forward with projects that create opportunity and growth.
With this investment, the Ontario PCs are advancing economic reconciliation, supporting Indigenous-led development, and delivering on the plan to build a stronger, more prosperous Ontario for everyone.
