Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Karin Howard

“I congratulate Karin on her nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Ottawa South.

“A lawyer and a former Ottawa city councillor, Karin brings a wealth of experience to our Ontario PC team. Karin is active in community affairs and previously served as President of the Somali Canadian Youth Centre, trustee to the Riverside Hospital Board, as well as with a number of organizations that advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities.

“Having called Ottawa South home for 35 years, I know Karin will work tirelessly to ensure Ottawa families pay less and get ahead.

“After 14 years in power, life is harder with the Liberals. Ontario families are working hard, paying more, and getting less. Ontario deserves better. It’s time for a change.
