FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NORTHUMBERLAND—PETERBOROUGH SOUTH – Today, the Ontario PC Party proudly announced that David Piccini has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Northumberland-Peterborough South in the next provincial general election.

Since his election in 2018, David Piccini has delivered real results, driving investments in housing, health care, high-speed internet, and infrastructure. He has worked to improve emergency services, expand access to primary care, and support key projects that strengthen the local economy and enhance quality of life for families in the region.

“David Piccini is an outstanding leader who has consistently delivered for Northumberland-Peterborough South,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “From fighting the Liberal carbon tax to cutting costs for families, championing investments in the electric vehicle sector, and securing critical funding for housing and health care, David’s work is making life better for families in this region. I’m proud to have him on our team as we continue to build a stronger Ontario together.”

David and the Ontario PC Party will keep Northumberland-Peterborough Sough moving forward by continuing to reduce costs for families through measures like cutting the gas tax, scrapping licence plate sticker fees, and banning road tolls, while continuing to invest in housing, infrastructure, and health care.

“Serving the people of Northumberland—Peterborough South is the greatest privilege of my life,” says David Piccini. “Every day, I wake up focused on delivering results that make a difference—whether its helping families access better health care, expanding internet in rural communities, or supporting local businesses and workers. Together, we are achieving so much, but there’s always more work to do. I am rolling up my sleeves every day to ensure our communities thrive and that every family has the opportunities they need to succeed.”
