Dawn Gallagher Murphy Ontario PC Candidate for Newmarket-Aurora


NEWMARKET-AURORA – The Ontario PC Party is pleased to announce that Dawn Gallagher Murphy will run as our candidate in Newmarket-Aurora in the next provincial election.

Dawn Gallagher Murphy is a proud mother, wife and entrepreneur with 25 years in the secure payments industry, including 15 years managing her own consulting business. She worked as a highly-specialized card program solution development professional serving the Canadian and International banking industry, and served with MPP Newmarket-Aurora, Christine Elliott since 2018. 

“I am honoured to join Doug Ford and the Ontario PC team ahead of the next provincial election,” said Dawn Gallagher Murphy, Ontario PC Candidate for Newmarket-Aurora. “I am truly grateful to have served MPP Christine Elliott, over the years, who has been instrumental in Ontario’s COVID-19 response. Doug Ford and the entire Ontario PC government have demonstrated proven leadership on doing everything they can to keep people safe and healthy. The people of Newmarket-Aurora need a strong, local representative who will build a stronger community and Ontario as we recover from the impacts of COVID-19.”

Dawn is a strong, effective and results oriented community leader who has championed supports for businesses, the local hospital, and mental health and addictions supports. In 2019, she assembled a team for the Nature’s Emporium Run for Southlake. She has personally championed and coached people with disabilities within the community, and created a Community Spirit and Solidarity School Council Award within the local school system.

Dawn is a graduate from Western University and speaks French.
