Dishonest attack ad shows Wynne will do anything to stay in power

Kathleen Wynne and her insider friends opened an attack campaign against Patrick Brown, Leader of the Ontario PCs. The factually incorrect digital ad appeared on Facebook as a sponsored, paid campaign.

“Ontario families are finding it harder to get by and the reason for that is the Liberals and their insider friends are benefiting at their expense,” said Steve Clark, Deputy Leader of the Ontario PCs. “Families aren’t getting ahead because the Liberals and their insider friends are keeping them down.”

The sponsored advert features a “photoshopped” image of Brown and falsely attributes to him a position taken by his predecessor.

“After 14 years in power, Wynne and her insider friends will do and say anything to stay there, including lie,” said Clark. “When hydro bills have skyrocketed, when your campaign director has been charged with bribery, and when your cash-for-access scheme has been exposed, its all you have left.”

Last week Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown announced he will put a stop to Liberal insider special treatment, including ending the practice of cash-for-access whereby Ministers can use loopholes in the law to keep fundraising.

Under Wynne and the Liberals, life gets harder for families and better for them.
