Effie Triantafilopoulos Acclaimed as Ontario PC Party Candidate for Oakville North–Burlington

OAKVILLE NORTH–BURLINGTON – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Effie Triantafilopoulos has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Oakville North–Burlington in the next provincial general election.

Since being elected MPP, Effie Triantafilopoulos has delivered tangible results for Oakville North-Burlington, including critical investments in the expansion of local health care, transportation infrastructure and economic development. Her advocacy helped to secure a new MRI machine at Joseph Brant Hospital and substantial upgrades to emergency services in Halton Region.

“Effie is a dedicated advocate for her community and her commitment to improving the lives of families in Oakville North–Burlington is inspiring,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “From building Highway 413 to expanding access to primary care and fighting the Liberal carbon tax to reduce the cost of living, Effie is making a difference for her constituents. I’m proud to have her on our team as we continue building a stronger Ontario together.”

Effie Triantafilopoulos and the Ontario PC Party will continue to support the people of Oakville North-Burlington by focusing on reducing costs, investing in critical infrastructure and creating opportunities for local families and businesses.
