Jim Schmidt Nominated as the Ontario PC 2022 Candidate for Kitchener Centre

KITCHENER – The Ontario PC Party is pleased to announce that Jim Schmidt has been nominated as our candidate for the riding of Kitchener Centre for the 2022 provincial election.

Jim is a small business owner and has nearly 20 years of experience as a custodial officer with the Waterloo Region District School Board, Waterloo Catholic School District School Board (WCDSB) and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.

He completed a certification from Conestoga College in the discipline of Micro Computer Application specializing in AutoCAD, as well as a certification for Managers, Supervisors & Lead Hands.

“I am grateful to have been nominated as your PC candidate for Kitchener Centre,” said Jim Schmidt. “As a resident and small business owner, I hope to bring a new voice to Queen’s Park and advance the priorities of our community.”

Jim is a dedicated community volunteer, serving as the having served as the President of the Kitchener Waterloo Shop Hockey League for five years and coaching with the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association.

He currently resides in Kitchener with his partner, Stephanie and their three children.
