Leaderless Liberals Double Down on saying NO to Highway 413

November 19, 2023

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BRAMPTON – Ahead of the Ontario Liberals’ leadership debate in Brampton, the Ontario PCs released the following statement:

“After two consecutive elections in which the Ontario Liberals failed to win a single seat in Brampton or Peel Region, the Liberals are doubling down on saying NO to Highway 413.

Yasir Naqvi sat on his hands and let gridlock get worse while the Wynne-Liberals cancelled an earlier plan to build Highway 413.

Ted Hsu has boasted that a Liberal government would “kill Highway 413“.

Bonnie Crombie said she’s “proud” to oppose Highway 413.

“And Nate Erskine-Smith refuses to take a position on Highway 413.

“While the Ontario Liberals double-down on saying NO to the people of Brampton and Peel Region, our Ontario PC team will continue to build the roads and highways our growing province needs to get people moving.”
