New Cyber Operations Centre for the OPP

The Province’s Solicitor General Sylvia Jones announced the opening of a new Cyber Operations Centre for the Province’s police force.

This new Centre is critical in combatting cyber criminals who are becoming more and more sophisticated in their activities throughout the years.

The Centre will make sure the OPP is better equipped to tackle cyberbullying, child sexual exploitation, human trafficking, hacking, identity theft, online fraud, and ransomware.

This recent opening reinforces our PC team’s commitment to ensure that police officers in Ontario get the tools they need to keep us safe and bring criminals to justice.
