As part of the Ontario PC government’s plan to fight crime and keep Ontario communities safe, we are investing in the construction of 12 new Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachments in Bracebridge, Burlington, Espanola/McKerrow, Ignace, Kenora, Killaloe, Lancaster, New Liskeard, Niagara, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, and Wawa.
A new regional headquarters will also be built in Thunder Bay to support operations across Northwestern Ontario.
By modernizing and expanding police infrastructure across the province, we’re ensuring that OPP officers have access to the advanced tools, technologies, and resources needed to meet the demands of 21st-century policing.
