Ontario’s PC Government is Boosting Local Emergency Preparedness

To help communities prepare for and respond to emergencies, the Ontario PC government is investing an additional $5 million through The Community Emergency Preparedness Grant. This funding will support the purchase of essential equipment, enhance community training programs, and upgrade local infrastructure—ensuring municipalities are better equipped to respond to emergencies.

Complementing this investment, the government is also establishing a brand-new Ontario Emergency Preparedness and Response Headquarters. This dedicated facility will serve as a central hub for disaster response coordination, offering critical support and information to communities across the province.

Together, these initiatives reflect the Ontario PC government’s commitment to keeping people safe, strengthening emergency response capabilities, and building a more resilient province—ready to face whatever challenges may come.
