FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BRAMPTON SOUTH – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Prabmeet Sarkaria has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Brampton South in the upcoming provincial general election.

Since his election as MPP, Prabmeet Sarkaria has championed major improvements across Brampton South, from developing essential infrastructure to supporting skilled job creation and delivering affordable solutions for families. His achievements include launching the construction of Highway 413 and the Bradford Bypass to ease gridlock, expanding GO Train service, and investing millions into local healthcare to meet growing needs.

“Prabmeet has been a tireless advocate for Brampton South, fighting for the investments that make a real difference in the daily lives of his constituents,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “He’s focused on cutting costs, building critical infrastructure, and ensuring Ontario workers have the training and support they need to thrive. I am confident he will continue to deliver results that benefit his community and all of Ontario.”

Prabmeet Sarkaria and the Ontario PC Party will focus on furthering Brampton’s growth by investing in the Hazel McCallion LRT, expanding local hospital capacity with a new inpatient tower at Peel Memorial, and continuing to provide financial relief to residents by keeping taxes low and transit affordable.

“It’s an incredible privilege to represent Brampton South,” said Sarkaria. “This community deserves the best, and I’m committed to advancing our shared vision of a thriving Brampton with quality jobs, accessible healthcare, and infrastructure that meets the demands of the future. Together, we’re building a better Brampton for all families, today and for generations to come.”
