Ruth Farkas Acclaimed as Ontario PC Party Candidate for Toronto Centre

TORONTO CENTRE – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Ruth Farkas has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Toronto Centre in the next provincial general election.

Ruth Farkas is a dynamic and passionate advocate with extensive experience in public policy, communications and community engagement. With a Master of International Public Policy from the Balsillie School of International Affairs and a diverse career spanning roles in government, research and leadership, Ruth brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her candidacy.

“Ruth Farkas is a fantastic candidate who truly understands the challenges people are facing in Toronto Centre,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “She’s all about getting results—whether it’s cutting red tape, creating jobs or tackling mental health and addiction issues. Ruth knows how to get things done, and I know she’ll be a strong voice for her community at Queen’s Park. I’m thrilled to have her on our team.”

Ruth Farkas and the Ontario PC Party will support the people of Toronto Centre by focusing on cutting red tape, creating jobs, investing in transit and infrastructure and investing in community safety initiatives and homelessness prevention programs to support vulnerable populations and build stronger, safer communities.
