Statement by Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on Imamat Day

“Today we celebrate Imamat Day, a great time for the Ismaili community. It is a time to commemorate the anniversary of the ascension of Aga Khan IV – Prince Shah Karim Al Husseini.

All over the world, Ismaili Muslims will celebrate with extra prayers and blessings.  It is a great time to reflect and commend the achievements of the Aga Khan and the promotion of pluralism. I applaud the abundant contributions that Canadian Ismailis give to our province.

On behalf of the Ontario PC Party, I want to wish all Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims a happy Imamat Day!”
