Statement by Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the Anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence

Today, Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown issued the following statement marking Pakistan’s 70thIndependence Day: 

“I am pleased to send warmest greetings to all who are celebrating Pakistan’s 70th Independence Day.

 

Ontario is home to a large number of Canadians of Pakistani heritage, who have greatly contributed to our province’s diversity. 

Many opportunities exist between Canada and Pakistan. I certainly enjoyed visiting Pakistan earlier this year with a business delegation. It highlighted to me the importance of growing our trade relations.

On behalf of the Ontario PC Party, I wish all celebrating a happy and enjoyable Independence Day.”
