Statement from Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford on the nomination of Akash Grewal

“I congratulate Akash on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek.
“Akash is a great addition to our Ontario PC team. A lifelong resident of Stoney Creek, Akash has worked and volunteered within the community his whole life. Akash wants to pave the way for future generations, and as a young professional, he has first-hand knowledge of the issues facing youth today.
“Akash’s experiences in the financial sector and as a volunteer in the community will serve him well as the representative for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek.

“After 15 years in power, life is harder under the Wynne Liberals. The people of Waterloo deserve a government they can trust – a government that will respect the taxpayer, end the culture of waste at Queen’s Park, and stand up for the little guy.
“The Ontario PC Party will continue to work hard for a more prosperous province. I look forward to working with Akash as we share our message of change with Hamilton East-Stoney Creek and Ontario families.”
