Statement from Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford on the nomination of Billy Pang

“I congratulate Billy Pang on his nomination as the Ontario PC Party Candidate for Markham-Unionville. Billy is a welcomed addition to our strong and diverse PC team.

“Billy feels strongly about improving our health care system, lowering hydro rates and saying ‘no’ to the carbon tax. His years of experience on the Markham-Unionville school board, as both a trustee and committee member, will serve him well in an Ontario PC government.

“Billy is a passionate community advocate and will be a strong voice for the people of Markham-Unionville.

“After 15 years in power, life is harder under the Wynne Liberals. The people of Markham-Unionville deserve a government they can trust – a government that will respect the taxpayer, end the culture of waste at Queen’s Park, and stand up for the little guy.

“The Ontario PC Party will continue to work hard for a more prosperous province. I look forward to working with Billy as we share our message of change with Markham-Unionville and Ontario families.”
