Statement from Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford on the nomination of Dan Weber

“I congratulate Dan on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Waterloo.

“Dan is a great addition to our Ontario PC team. As a small business owner, he understands the many issues businesses are facing and is committed to making life more affordable. 

“Dan has volunteered within the Waterloo community all his life. He is active with his St. Agnes Parish community, serves on the board of governors of St. Jerome’s University, and volunteers with Oktoberfest and the University of Waterloo Community. 

“Dan’s years of experience in mentorship and volunteer positions will serve him well as the representative for Waterloo.

“After 15 years in power, life is harder under the Wynne Liberals. The people of Waterloo deserve a government they can trust – a government that will respect the taxpayer, end the culture of waste at Queen’s Park, and stand up for the little guy. 

“The Ontario PC Party will continue to work hard for a more prosperous province. I look forward to working with Dan as we share our message of change with Waterloo and Ontario families.”
