Statement from Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford on the nomination of Harjit Jaswal

“I congratulate Harjit Jaswal on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Brampton Centre. Harjit is a great addition to our Ontario PC team.

“Harjit has lived in the Brampton Centre area since coming to Canada in 1998. He came to this country seeking opportunity and a better life for his children. Harjit wants to get Ontario back on track so that it is once again a province where families and businesses come to prosper.

“Harjit’s life experiences will serve him well as the representative for Brampton Centre.

“After 15 years in power, life is harder under the Wynne Liberals. The people of Brampton Centre deserve a government they can trust – a government that will respect the taxpayer, end the culture of waste at Queen’s Park, and stand up for the little guy.

“The Ontario PC Party will continue to work hard for a more prosperous province. I look forward to working with Harjit as we share our message of change with Brampton Centre and Ontario families.”
