Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown Celebrating Tamil New Year

“I extend my warmest wishes to the Tamil community celebrating Tamil New Year.

“Tamil New Year, also known as “Varusha Pirappu”, is an opportunity for families and friends to celebrate through feasts and sharing gifts.

“Since 2009 I’ve had the opportunity to get to know the Tamil community in Ontario. I am grateful for the friendships I have made over the years and for the opportunity to experience their many celebrations and festivals.

“I look forward to continue working with the Tamil community in the years ahead.

“I wish all Tamils celebrating a festive Tamil New Year.

“Puthandu Vazthukal!”
