Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on Sukkot

The following is a statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown marking Sukkot:

“This evening, Ontarians of Jewish heritage will gather with friends and family to mark the joyous festival of Sukkot.  The festival commemorates the forty years that the ancient Israelites wandered in the Sinai desert after their exodus from Egypt.

“Across the province, celebrations will include the decorating of temporary shelters, enjoying meals together, and daily blessings over the lulav and etrog.

“To all those celebrating, Chag Sukkot Sameach!”
