“Bas Balkissoon has been a fixture in Scarborough politics, with 28 years of service to his community as a municipal councillor and Member of Provincial Parliament.  On behalf of the Ontario PC Party I thank Bas for his years of service and advocacy and we wish him the very best. He was a strong representative for his constituents, and the Ontario PC Party looks forward to nominating a candidate who will continue his legacy of hard work.”
