Steve Clark Acclaimed as Ontario PC Party Candidate for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes

LEEDS-GRENVILLE-THOUSAND ISLANDS AND RIDEAU LAKES – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Steve Clark has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes in the next provincial general election.

Since his election as MPP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes, Steve Clark has been a strong advocate for his community. His efforts to rebuild Ontario’s economy, expand critical infrastructure, and improve healthcare access have made a substantial impact across the region, including significant investments in local projects such as high-speed internet expansion and water infrastructure to support new housing developments.

“Steve has been an outstanding representative for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “From building key infrastructure, like the new Multi-Use Recreational Complex in Prescott, to investing in hospitals and workforce training, Steve has delivered real results. His commitment to cutting costs for families, expanding job opportunities, and improving healthcare services proves his dedication to the people of this region. I know he will continue to fight for a bright future for his community.”

Steve and the Ontario PC Party remain focused on key priorities in the region, including expanding rural high-speed internet access, investing in water and community infrastructure to enable new housing developments, increasing emergency services, and supporting job training to help workers and job seekers thrive.
