Kitchener South—Hespeler

Amy is the first Member of Provincial Parliament to represent the riding of Kitchener South – Hespeler and is a proud resident of Pioneer Park. Amy was born and raised in Ontario and is a mom to four school-aged kids, including two with autism spectrum disorder. Prior to provincial politics, Amy was a school board trustee and a news anchor and sports reporter in Western Canada.

Since being elected in 2018, Amy has held several roles in Government, including serving as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Children, Community and Social Services with a specific focus on children, autism, and women’s issues. She has also served as the Deputy Government House Leader. Amy can often be found enjoying the Speed River near Black Bridge Road in Hespeler and walking at least one of her black Labs at Huron Natural Area in Kitchener South.
