Toronto City Councillor Gary Crawford Announced as Ontario PC Party Candidate for Scarborough—Guildwood


Toronto, ON – The Ontario PC Party is pleased to announce that Toronto City Councillor Gary Crawford has been selected as its official candidate for the riding of Scarborough—Guildwood.

As a long-time advocate for the Scarborough subway and with a proven track record of delivering results, Gary Crawford brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the needs of the people of Scarborough. His commitment to public service and his strong leadership makes him an ideal candidate to represent the interests of Scarborough—Guildwood residents.

“I’m humbled and honoured to be chosen as the Ontario PC candidate for Scarborough—Guildwood,” said Crawford. “I am deeply committed to serving the people of this community and ready to be their voice at the provincial level. Together, we will build a stronger, more prosperous Scarborough—Guildwood.”

Gary Crawford is currently serving his fourth term as city councillor, before which he served as school trustee for seven years, earning the respect and trust of the families in Scarborough Southwest. During his tenure as a councillor, he has consistently advocated for the issues that matter most to the people he represents, including improved infrastructure, housing and education. As the City of Toronto’s budget chief, Crawford knows the importance of respecting taxpayers.
