William Foy Nominated as 2022 Ontario PC Party Candidate for Timiskaming-Cochrane
TIMISKAMING-COCHRANE – The Ontario PC Party is pleased to announce that William Foy has been nominated as our candidate for the riding of Timiskaming-Cochrane for the 2022 provincial election.
“I am honoured to have been nominated as your PC candidate for Timiskaming-Cochrane,” said William Foy. “I know the work that needs to be done to protect our Region while advancing economic prosperity. I look forward to working with constituents and all community partners to advance our priorities at Queen’s Park.”
For 20 years, William has worked for the provincial government in various roles. From labour relations to conservation, William is well informed of the issues that matter to local residents. Currently, William works as a Conservation Officer with the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry. In this role, William works tirelessly to protect and safeguard Ontario’s natural resources for present and future generations of Ontarians. He has also previously worked for the Ontario Public Service Employee Union.
William was a proud volunteer and referee for local hockey associations for over 30 years. William is a proud Métis and resident of Kirkland Lake. He lives with his wife Jeanette and daughter. In his spare time, William volunteers with local youth hockey leagues.
